Follow-up with Afton
- 1:1 call with a provider; all seem to know what they are doing in terms of surveying youth. Taking more steps to stay involved to prevent implementation issues. Has received some entry surveys. People feel good about asking her questions.
- At next cross-grantee call wants to know how they are delivering services virtually. They have been delivering in person and virtually.
Check-in with Sandy
- Recruiting – still trying to find someone.
- Can the CQI template help with the current programming? – No Sandy is not delivering program now.
Continuing to work on Jennifer’s implementation
- Finished a set of groups and emailed survey after completing group. Only received two responses. This is low in comparison to other email surveys she’s done. She’s rethinking whether to use email, and instead may call. Trying to get information from these groups before she sends out videos.
- Questions on race/ethnicity, which groups did you attend, and confidence in using the information before and after the group, and option to offer feedback on training. Sent it two weeks ago, sent a follow-up. Consider asking school to call as well to get feedback.
- Didn’t put incentives on the survey to see response. Will likely need to attach a gift card for an incentive.
- Learning questions and data collection – still needs to figure out learning questions.
- Strategy is creating videos to send to parents. What might be learning questions?
- Diversity of parents watching videos.
- Using a platform that allows her to get unduplicated counts of views and to request feedback.
- Trying to understand preferred delivery method.
- How to get video programming to people who are not participating in current programming.
- Consider different methods to gather these data.
- Wanted to begin sending videos this week since it is last week of school, but hope in the next week or two.
- Next time we’ll talk about interpreting the data you get back and the next step on planning how to take it and move it forward.
Option to extend the SRAE CQI Meetings
- Sandy and Jennifer are cutting back hours over the summer since they work during the school year. Programming becomes smaller. If there is an option in the fall, would be interested.
- Mathematica to do: get back to Jennifer/Sandy about support during the fall.
